Project description

The Museum Barberini opened in the heart of Potsdam in January 2017. This new art museum is the brainchild of art collector and SAP founder Hasso Plattner. The Hasso Plattner Foundation finances the maintenance and exhibition activities of the museum.

The Museum Barberini holds rotating exhibitions organized by international cooperations. The reconstructed Palais Barberini at Potsdam’s Alter Markt boasts 17 exhibition halls with a total area of 2,200m². Furthermore, there is an auditorium, a studio, a café and a museum shop.
